The Junior/Mid-Level Network Admin will have to perform the following responsibilities for our company:

Job Responsibilities

• Install and monitor required Security updates & Windows across multiple servers
• Integrate & install new server applications and hardware
• Set up permissions, user accounts, and passwords
• Troubleshoot website issues related to loading or performance by working with the technical support team
• Monitor network performance (latency, goodput, throughput utilization, and availability) and test for weaknesses
• Install and support LANs, Internet, network segments, and intranet systems
• Configure, maintain and upgrade in-house servers and corporate customer’s networks
• Installation, maintenance and procurement of SSL certificates as they expire
• Configuration of new sites in IIS / WebsitePanel
• Keep an eye out for needed updates
• Offering recommendations on server system administration after research.
• Ensuring network connectivity and security
• Resolving problems reported by end-user
• Complete configuration and maintenance of the existing servers

Skills Required

• Can monitor, prioritize, and organize various tasks at once
• Familiarity with problem resolution, troubleshooting, Internet VPNs remote implementation and firewalls
• Hands-on expertise in switching, routing, and networking
• Capable to take initiative to handle issues before they intensify
• Can set up and configure server hardware
• Understanding about managing, controlling, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (Google Cloud Hosting, AWS, Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V)
• Candidates with Microsoft training and certifications will be preferred

Knowledge of the following services will be a plus:

• Database mirroring, including T-SQL and MS-SQL server
• AWS Cloud services (VPC, EC2, and EBS)
• IIS configuration/administration
• Windows Server environments and configuration
• Microsoft Remote Apps configuration
• PCI Certification
